Young Michigander Advocacy Program (YMAP) is an opportunity for students to become a changemaker their community head on! Throughout YMAP students will explore their ideas and develop a plan to advocate for their area of concern. Throughout this 8 week course students will gain a better understanding of a policy, develop a network of peers and mentors, increase research skills and build a strong voice to advocate for issue important to them! We will be holding weekly meeting for an hour and a half. These meetings will be focused giving you the skills you need to advocate for your cause! If accepted into the program it will cost $100 to participate.
