Mission Statement
Our mission is to provide leadership and civic engagement training to meet the needs of a democratic society and to develop an understanding and awareness of Michigan State government and state and national issues among the youth of Michigan. We deliver our programs to teens ranging from 6th to 12th grade all across the state. The program is also part of a national network of YMCA programs serving more than 60,000 teens each year.
